Our Service Areas

Philadelphia Transit is a non-profit transportation organization dedicated to serving the general public, including elderly and disabled individuals. It provides services across Neshoba, Lauderdale, Scott, Kemper, Newton, Leake, Clarke, and Winston Counties, as well as to medical facilities in the Jackson metropolitan area (Hinds, Rankin, and Madison Counties).

For non-emergency and medical transportation, requests should be made at least 24 hours in advance and must be scheduled by 3:30 p.m. on the preceding business day. Requests can be made up to two weeks in advance, but are subject to availability. Requests for Monday must be submitted by 3:30 p.m. on the previous Friday. All transportation is provided on a first-come, first-served basis, and while every effort will be made to accommodate all requests, capacity constraints may affect scheduling.
